It was 7:30am this morning when I received an anonymous phone call from someone on the east coast informing me of someone named Michael Dawson Photography and how this Michael Dawson guy copied my website verbatim. As I was wiping the crust out of my eyes I roll out of bed to my computer to see who this “Mr. Dawson” character is and exactly what he stole. While on the phone with the anonymous caller (lets call him “Mr. Anon”) he is informing me of his vigilante efforts to bring Mr. Dawson to justice. It was brought to my attention that Mr. Michael Dawson had committed this copyright crime multiple times to several photographers in the Philadelphia area and was caught so many times that he decided to copy my site, probably thinking that San Diego was far enough no one would know. ........... Having the ability to offer your guests a keepsakes for the night is an invaluable gift that people take home and remember the night from. Nothing is better than a photo with a significant other or group of friends professionally taken by a photographer and printed out instantly and handed to the guests. Guests have a blast with having their photos taken and often want to have several photos taken. Whether it is a more formal setting an opportunity to have more fun with props and fun colors, it is always a great compliment to have onsite printing and professional photography at an event. Onsite printing in San Diego is a difficult task that not all photographers can offer. There is a substantial investment into very expensive printers, cameras, lights, backdrops and software...the software alone is $1,400, but is vital to ensure that guests receive high quality print products in the matter of seconds. It is also a team effort. A photographer can not do the job on their own, there needs to be at least 2 people and sometimes more depending on how many people are there in attendance. Next time you hire an event photographer for onsite printing make sure they have the qualifications and experience to deliver a high quality product, quickly, and with a smile on their face to ensure your guests are enjoying the event.
Onsite Printing Photographer San Diego The typical “would you rather” question with a very obvious answer. Unless I am training to develop some major muscles while hiking, I would rather take 15 extra pounds and take some extraordinary photos along the way. Carrying your entire backpack with all of your equipment in it typically ranges from 30-40 pounds, while just carrying your camera can lead to not having multiple lenses or your camera being subject to the environment including water, dust, and rocks. So, what is the solution? A travel camera bag of course! You can try and carry your camera equipment in a purse or other bag, but there is nothing with better quality, endurance and that is made specifically for traveling like the ThinkTank Photo Equipment. I am happy to recommend the ThinkTank CityWalker 10 Travel Bag. READ FULL BLOG AND THE TOP 10 FEATURES OF THE BAG HERE Congratulations Eladio!

By: Wildpianist Everyone is always interested in which lens they should get that will get them generally good photos. But, it is time to take a look at what you are interested in and invest in a lens that will get you good photos of most, but INCREDIBLE photos when used for its specialty. For instance, a wide angle lens. Wide Angle Photography is tricky in its own way, but nothing looks more tantalizing than a beautifully constructed wide angle shot. Getting a specialty lens like this can cost a pretty penny. Asking Rob Andrew, professional photographer, he recommended the “Canon 16-35mm” but followed with “it will cost you though”. While there is not doubt the Canon 16-35mm is amazing as described by Ken Rockwell, we wanted to recommend something with quality AND value for all of you who do not have an extra $1,500 plus lying around, but want to have breathless wide angle shots. The Tokina 11-16mm is the best ultrawide zoom lens available and comes at an incredible price (over 35% less than comparable Nikon and Canon wide angle lenses)! Tokina holds its product to a high standard in quality and provides great pricing. This Tokina 11-16mm also is universal being able to be used on both Canon and Nikon cameras; therefore, it is a great investment for any photographer holding those brands. Considered one of the world’s fastest and sharpest ultrawide lens for small format digital cameras, this lens is very well made and produces sharp beautiful photos.
